R. Clemente
You have been researching all aspects of R. Clemente and will now apply that knowledge by writing a short piece as if you were him. You, as a scholar, must consider how Roberto Clemente might have thought and felt about events, issues, and other people in his time period. It’s an opportunity for you to truly engage with Roberto's history! Be creative & use quotes (2-5) &/or facts you have learned about him to back up your creative writing piece pretending you are him!

DeleteValeria Sanchez- I am Roberto Clemente and I play baseball for living. I use to go through a lot,racism and name calling. In one of my baseball games I said something special that really made proud to say "If I would be happy ,I would be a very bad baseball player. With me,when I get mad,it puts energy in my body,"This quote is important to me because its said how i benefit when people are racist to me and talk behind my back, I get energy like a car. My other quote that i think people really enjoyed was"Anytime you have an opportunity to make a diffrence in this world and you dont , then you are wasting your time on earth."

ReplyDeleteJames McDaniel- R.clemente hit an amazing .311 in 1956. He was born in 8/18/34 and he died in ?/?/72.His birth place was in Carolina,puerto rico.Some facts are : he led the National league in batting and starred in the 71" world series.
